You will train like a fighter without the fear of getting hit because our Women’s Only Cardio Kickboxing Classes are non contact. Stretching and Jump Rope
Stretching for five mins then right into jumping rope. Three 3 minute rounds of jump rope and in-between rounds we do some exercises. Priming your body by breaking a light sweat will help you get the most out of the rest of class.
Working on the Boxing Bags
Now its time to hit stuff! We glove up and get ready to go. Our bag area holds 30 punching bags, this isn’t a taebo class, you want to feel your fist hit something when you throw a strike . Punching is the best stress reliever. There’s nothing more fun then winding up and smashing a heavy bag as hard as you can and turning life’s drama on the back burner for the 60 mins of class. We aren’t just whacking the heavy bag aimlessly, the coach will take you through different combinations of punches, knees, and kicks. The more classes you take the better you will get, a lot of new students think some of our women in cardio kickboxing classes are fighters, thats how good their kickboxing has gotten.
Partner Up
When we are done with the heavy bags we switch it up and have you pair up with another girl in class. Now we perform partner drills with one student holding punching pads while the other is punching, kicking, bobbing, and weaving. We split it up into beginner and more advanced students so the new girls have simpler more basic combos while the more skilled kick boxers get longer more advanced combos. Don’t for a second think that holding for a partner is a break, in your first session you’ll discover very quick that holding pads is almost as tough as hitting them.
Gut buster time
The core of your body, which includes the abs and lower back muscles, will get an unintentional work out just by performing the punching and kicking . Now the class does some core exercises. side planks, sit ups, and russian twists, all fun stuff. All power comes from your core so this work will help you out in future sessions.

Good job, you made it through your first class. Props for pushing it and making it through. a full class of kickboxing burns more calories then lifting weights, jogging on a treadmill machine , or riding a bike.
