Stretching/Warm-up


We blast some music on the stereo and then begin our stretches. We need to get the mood and energy level up to get going. Then we will do some light stretching and sprint some laps around the mat or jump rope. Bag Work


Right now we strap up our gloves and start hitting stuff. Our bag area holds thirty boxing bags, this isn’t a taebo class, you want to feel your fist hit something when you throw a punch . Then after the round you’ll catch a quick breather, just enough time to show you the next round’s combo. After a few classes you will begin to look like you know how to kick some butt. You will most likely seem a little uncoordinated and off balance in your first workout, regardless of your fitness level. Since the demanding techniques will be different for your body, not just your brain. Though the combinations usually are comprised of pretty basic combos, when all is said and done, it is a routine that gets better with practice. Plan to give yourself 3 or 4 classes before you feel comfortable with the movements. Most sessions combine the same general moves in a different order or portion of the combination.


Buddy Drills

When we are all done with the boxing bags we switch it up and will have you pair up with another member in class. Now we perform partner exercises with one partner holding punching pads while the other is punching, kicking, bobbing, and weaving. New girls will have much easier combinations while our students that have been with us longer have more advanced combinations. Don’t for a second think that holding pads is a break, in your first session you will see very quick that holding pads is almost as tough as hitting them.


Ab Round


Your abdominals will definitely be feeling all the kicks and punches you have thrown. In our classes we still take the time to isolate our core and do some ab exercises. To get our girls ready for summer we’ll do all different ab work to help you get back in that swimsuit.


Now its time to grab some dumbbells. Now its time to finish strong and push through class is almost done. Including weight training into the training is what is going to make all the difference when it comes to getting a nice butt Boxing will help tone your arms but after a few rounds on the bag picking up a set of dumbbells and weight training with the class will help you achieve the defined and toned arms you’re searching for.


Cool Down

Congrats, you dominated it and made it through your first class.
