Get your self esteem back! You’ll get to know how to defend yourself all while losing body fat and getting in awesome shape. The way to properly punch, kick, and knee to maximize power and speed. Just because our instructors are fighters doesn’t mean you will have to fight. There is no contact in any of our cardio kickboxing classes so you won’t ever have to worry about having a bruise on your beautiful face. Warm up and Stretching

Our warmup kicks off with high energy music, whatever we feel like that day, Rock, EDM, or some 90′s pop. We need to get the atmosphere and energy level up to get started. Then we will do some light stretching and run some laps around the mat or jump rope. We need to get the muscles warm and loose in order to get the most from the rest of class.

Gloves on

Right now we put on our boxing gloves and start hitting stuff. Our bag system holds thirty boxing bags, this isn’t a taebo class, you need to feel your fist move something when you throw a strike . Kickboxing is the best stress reliever. There’s nothing more soothing then winding up and hitting a boxing bag as hard as you can and turning life’s drama on the back burner for the sixty minutes of class. We aren’t just blasting the punching bag aimlessly, the trainer will take you through different types of combos using punches, knees, and kicks. You’ll probably seem a little uncoordinated and off balance in the first session, no matter what your fitness level. Since the demanding combos will be different for your body, not just your brain. Though the combos usually are comprised of relatively basic combos, when all is said and done, it is a routine that improves with practice. Plan to give yourself 3 or 4 classes before you feel like you know the movements. Most sessions blend the same general techniques in a different order or part of the combination.

Partner Up

After a couple rounds on the heavy bags we then partner members and give you focus mitts or a kick shield. Now we begin partner drills with one partner holding punching pads while the other is pounding away on them and bobbing and weaving in between. We divide the class into new girls and more advanced girls so the new students have easier more basic combos while the more advanced kick boxers get longer more intricate combos. In your very first class you will realize that holding pads isn’t a break. Its almost just as tough as punching them.

6 Pack Secrets

Your abs will already be feeling all the kicks and punches you’ve thrown. In our classes we still take the time to isolate our core and do some abdominal exercises. To get our girls ready for summertime we’ll do all different ab work to help you get back in that swimsuit.

Now its time to grab some weights. Time to finish strong and push it class is almost done. The Last thing we do is pick up a set of dumbbells. Pounding on the punching bag and holding pads already have your arms burnt out but there is no bitching now if you want toned and defined shoulders, back, and arms.

Congratulations, you dominated it and finished your very first class.

Each element of our training will work the major muscles of the body. The combination of using the muscles in such a quick manner tones as well as develops a stamina that can quicken your metabolism.
